I had well over 2,000 hours on my Lightspeed Zulu 2 when I sent it in to be upgraded to Zulu 3 last a February. It should have gone in earlier as the boom mic was losing its flex, the head band had some wear and the ear cup seals looked worn. I mean, what would any headset look/work like after 2000+ hours in three years? But it was still working and it is my primary work headset. I just couldn’t find enough off time to send it in. All of those items were covered by the warranty, by the way. I had one speaker go dead in the first ten hours and Lightspeed customer service was 10/10. Long warranty (5 years?). The upgrade to the Zulu 3 was super easy, too. I bought a second Zulu 3 so both occupants in our 150 can wear them.
My primary Zulu headset is ridden hard and put away wet. Very durable.
