I don't know...the only plane I've ever sold was sold to the insurance company as a twisted heap of metal. On that one, I got top dollar with no haggling. Read "Agreed Value."
I still exhausted much emotional energy over that sale, however.
All I can say is to trust your gut. Then smile, be kind and considerate with the underlying suspicious eye of a high-risk banker.
