Looks like the perfect storm coming together, Bill!

As far as the medical, AOPA said PBOR2 was attached to the Defense Appropriations Bill in the Senate. I think (hope) the AOPA/EAA are going to keep pushing until they get this done. If you have had a medical in the last 10 years and have not been rejected (so be careful), you would be good to go with a medical exam from your regular doctor and talking him into signing a form. I wish that part would go away. Getting a doctor to do things is difficult sometimes. I'm not sure that part is on the Bill, but it was on the FAA reauthorization bill that included PBOR2 the Senate passed. It was the Fienstein Amendment, I think (I could be wrong). It would really be nice if it didn't get on the latest rendition.
