My daughter spent a year working in China. Everything was negotiated. She got very good a it. Most Americans (me included) only experience is with car dealers.
I looked at one plane before buying 63U that was in rough shape. In my honest opinion it was over priced. I told the buyer and he dropped the price some but not nearly enough. I ended up with 63U and am very happy.
Sometimes you have to tell the seller his price is not inline with the current market and he will have to lower price or you will take your business elsewhere. But be realistic with your counter offer.
