I think the landing lights in the wing on the 84 and 85 models is a plus, as they have less vibration and last longer, it seems. But there were fewer made, they get higher prices (newer model) and they don't fly any better, faster, or are any less fun than the first 152! No preference!
Oh, yeah! There were a lot more O-235-L2C's installed in 152's than the N2C's, so there may be a small difference in parts availability, but not much, I'd imagine!
