Hey Dale...it would depend on what "a few miles East of Portland" is. If it is Troutdale (TTD), there are a couple of club members in that area, one in particular I know who doesn't participate on the board, but I can hook you up with. Bob M. is in Vancouver (across the River) but I can't speak for him on that.
Don't be overly concerned with the Willamette Valley if that is where the plane has been based. I have bought two Oregon birds, one from the actual "coast" and the other from the Valley and neither had significant corrosion issues. I have seen just as bad on birds from Colorado and Montana. All depends really.
