He said the plane is near "The Dalles". I looked on the map and it is about 60 east of Portland.
Darn it! Wish I had seen this earlier. We drove through The Dalles this morning on the way home from Montana. (I thought of dropping in, Jeff, but did not think you would appreciate it at 6 AM
) If we ever get a break in this weather, (right now the Rogue River is trying to come out of it's banks!) I'll probably spend some time today rebuilding the fuel strainer and replacing the cowl fasteners with all the same kind that also work! Afterwards, I would be more than happy to buzz on up there to check it out. Triple Niner Echo Delta still needs a first cross country run! But, looking at the weather forecast, that is not going to be happening too soon!
