I agree. You have a special relationship with your plane, so why cheapen it by bringing money into the picture? You should give it away, to a caring yet financially disadvantaged pilot, so that the hole left in your heart by 16G's absence will be filled with the joy of a good deed.
Although, may I just point out that the weather is much better for a plane in Tennessee than in Wisconsin.
