There were a couple of military versions of the Cub that carried a stretcher, much of the rear fuselage opened up. Don't recall the "L" number, but they would qualify as an LSA and just might have the baggage area you need and probably fit your budget.

Very true, Rick. I have thought seriously about a number of these "L" type aircraft. But am shying away from taildraggers. Not to start any arguments, but flying a tail dragger takes added knack. I believe that I just do not fly enough any more to acquire and keep that knack at a proficient level. In addition, if i am going to take the plunge and go this route. Then I am also seeking the freedoms that go with flying Experimental.
