I clicked on the one Bengie found. Mine's an H but my baffle isn't at all like that one. Your cowling should be identical to mine. I think it's just a different style baffle. I'm still not sure a baffle will make your cabin warmer. That was the goal right?
I flew today and was checking around to see what feels warm and cold. It was -6c outside. My winter front was off. I thought my engine temps were a bit higher than I would have expected, leading me to continue to leave it off. Egt's are just like summer time.
Next time you fly, try this. Without a glove on your right hand, feel the air under the dash on the passenger side. It should feel very comfortably warm. Try your side under the dash, it should be the same, or a bit cooler, but not cold. Then feel around the wing root vents to see if air leakage is your issue on those. Then the flap indicator slot, I'm sure air will come out there, at least mine does. After that just feel around slowly looking for cold spots or drafts. We'll figure this out. You can still try my baffle if you want. We could meet in Sparta or RST if it's that cold. Fly both planes, compare notes, try the baffle, eat lunch. Probably needs to be in January with Schedules.
The cool spot in mine is above my left hand due to the flap indicator slot. The right hand wouldn't need a glove. Let me know. Jim
