Yeah, duct tape isn't pretty ... Just the other evening our TV friend Jay Leno in his crazy newspaper clips showed a photo and caption of a 90-some year-old flight instructor standing front of his airplane with duct tape all over the cowl. Had to explain to the wife that considering the fact it was only 5 degrees F. outside, I needed to do the same.
Just another case of a savvy aviator looking a bit silly ... the general public is just too stupid to understand.
