Then there are these entities that depend on pilots and General Aviation to keep going, and they do this stuff - making you pay the shipping and a restocking fee even if it's their mistake.
I'm still sore from a shaft I got in 2007. My A&P ordered for me 4 cylinders at over $1000 each to do the overhaul. The next day, Jim Hillabrand offered me a great deal on an engine. I asked my A&P to cancel the order. The vendor stuck us with $650 (15%) for restocking fee....and they had not even shipped the cylinders yet!!!
