not sure what TBO is for that model, but it's probably due an overhaul in a quick four years!
I believe TBO for a Sparrowhawk engine is 2000 hrs, due to higher compression than a standard O-235 engine. If the engine will make it to TBO, that means there are over 1000 hrs left. The average owner flies around 100 hrs/yr, that's 10 yrs of service. But if the owner is a member of the Keystone Flight, he'll probably use it up in four years.
