In CT no annual tax. But you pay 6% sales tax even if you buy in another state.
I guess that depends upon the town you're in. Most (all?) Connecticut towns assess property tax on vehicles (cars, boats, motorcycles, etc.) But for airplanes, CT passed a law years ago that set up flat-rate taxes for airplanes based upon gross weight instead of assessed value. As a result I pay only $90/year to the town of Stratford and get a pretty little sticker to put on plane.
