Hi Bill,
I can't really answer this question because I only flew 1.2 hrs behind the 72.5" x 56" prop. It was in mid november, outside temp was cold (a little above freezing) There was no vibration, thrust and acceleration was good.
The new prop (full lenght 74" x 58" pitch) was installed on the o/hauled engine so the comparison is hard to do, since my new engine is running very well (and smmmmooouuuuth)
I think the C150 cabin is not large enough to make significant behavior difference for about 1.5" prop lenght. How fast do you cruise with your actual prop ? According to several of your previous post, we both have the same climb number at the same speed and same gross

weight. Seems to me the 72.5x56 prop behave like the new 74x58 prop. Static RPM was good with both, altough a little on the high side with the new prop. I am tempted to have the new prop repitch to 56" for more climb and might loose only maybe 1-2 MPH of airspeed. I turn 2500-2550 RPM at 85 MPH when climbing.
