I had seriously considered a tripacer before I ended up getting my second 150, 16 months ago. I had a 150 about 12 years ago, learned to fly in a 150 and I seem more knowledgeable about it. However, a close friend of mine had a tripacer, and I thought it was really a nice plane. I had even bid on a tripacer before I got the 150. I was a member of the "Short Wing Piper club" that is also a friendly, informative organization. I think dollar for dollar, the tripacer is a good buy. I was just more familiar with the 150 or I am sure I would have purchased a tripacer. I even found out that a number of flight schools use tripacers for training. This is just fyi.
