I plugged the numbers into Vref at AOPA site, including a $4K added-value for new paint; Vref gave a quote of $32,900. Since Vref's quote is usually on high side, I think the $30,000 asking price is reasonable. Basically, with that plane, you won't have to worry about an overhaul at least in the next 15 years, if you're a typical owner who flies about 100 hrs per year. If you plan on keeping the plane for a long time, that's not a bad deal. If you're not sure how long you'll own it, then buy something with mid-time engine (say 1200 SMOH) and it'll cost you less.
