By the way, there is another Aerobat currently being offered on ebay (1975 A150M, N2766J). My A&P and I flew from Kansas to Florida to inspect the plane in December, 2006. I was ready to buy and willing to spend the money for the trip/inspection. While the description on ebay is relatively accurate, what is not stated was the amount of corrosion in the wings, control surfaces, and fuselage. My A&P indicated that he would not recommend sign-off of the airplane as being in an airworthy condition given the extent of the corrosion. That obviously ended my interest. Quite frankly, I have not seen that amount of corrosion in a flying aircraft in my 30 plus years of flying. The plane subsequently sold (it was on Barnstormers) for under $27,700. I can only suggest that, if interested, you inspect the aircraft with an A&P and/or AI prior to committing a bid. I just want to help members get a good plane, especially if the intended use is for aerobatics. Mike.
