People in Canada call me nuts for spending import fees + the taxes for a US airplane...but here's a good reason why I'm still moving forward with that '59 from PA (waiting for better weather to do a import inspection in Canada.
This airplane has 7600 TTAF, 1100 SMOH done in the early '80's, crappy paint, and frankly...the owner didn't seem that knowledgeable on his aircraft or Cessnas in general.
Selling price was $21,000 US...seems way too high to me.
