Does anyone know the website for Michel Avionics or Michel Electronics, maker of the TKM radios? I searched for it all morning but was unsuccessful. I'd like to download the user's guide for the TKM MX-385. Thanks.

I tried to search for it but was unsuccessful also. If they have a website is must be VERY well hidden!

You can get the specs. at www:avionix.com, but no user's manual. Somewhere I seem to remember seeing the user's manual for all the TKM radios, but I can't remember where.(At my age the memory is the second thing to go, I can't remember the first!)

Esscoaircraft.com has the manuals for sale at $25/each. I was trying to see if TKM has it available for download somewhere. I mainly want to know how to store the frequencies. If somebody has another TKM model like the MX-300, please tell me how it's done. Thanks.

This has been a long standing problem with TKM. I have never found a website for Michel Avionics but I did find a dealer who has a manual page at http://www.hawkinsassoc.com/tkm_manuals/manual_main.html Unfortunately they only have a lousy scanned copy of the MX300 manual there, nothing else.

Because I have an MX300 and get lots of request for copies of the manual I took the trouble to convert the MX 300 manual into true digital files (both HTML and PDF)last year.

These have been available in the member's area for several months.

I'll be happy to do the same for the MX385 if someone wants to send me a photo copy of their MX385 manual.

Thanks for the MX-300 file, Royson. I asked the seller to send me a copy of the MX-385 manual if he has it. He never replied "Yes" or "No". I should receive the shipment this Friday; if the manual is included, I'll send you a copy of it.

Well, the (used) radio came without a manual. So I have nothing to contribute to the database.

Hung,

Reading through the post on MX-3XX radios ....I don't know if you ever got a copy of the manual for your MX but if not just give the factory a call. TKM is in Scottsdale AZ. 1-800-233-4183. Kathy will probably answer the phone. Ask for Earl the Technician. He can fax or if you need a replacement it probably won't cost an arm and a leg. Nice people. This is a small company, not like calling King (give up).

I've made arrangements to receive a full set of Michel owners manuals from their distributor, which I will convert to both PDF and HTML files for the website.

There's no copyright issue, as this is a cooperative effort, the distributor will be posting copies of the electronic manuals on their website as well.

Should have the 385 manual on the website by mid Dec.

I just purchased a 385 and I have made a copy of the "manual".

I could make a pdf and post it some where if I knew the location or you can email me your address and I'll send you one of my xerox copies.
