I hope it does not stay at Carlsbad too long. The airport there, Palomar Airport (CRQ) likes to eat airplanes up. There usually a nice stiff salt breeze sweeping in from the ocean which is only a few miles away.

I talked to the owner when I was looking for an airplane about a year ago. I only remember some of the details, he was in the military, it was based at Fallbrook, I think he bought it back east and brought it to CA. He wanted alot more money for it then as I recall.

This one looks great with the exception that it's so far from MD!

I bought my plane in Apple Valley, California and flew it home to Maryland in 2003. Since then I've flown it to California and back 2 more times. It's not a long cross country, just a bunch of short ones.

I'm just constrained by time, not worried about the flying itself. They won't come down in price much anyhow. It's pretty, but I'm looking for best value since I will only have the plane for a year or two. I'm gonna keep looking
