I am currently working on my doors, replacing seals, priming, painting and general maintenance. I am looking for the door latch springs and am trying to locate a source other than Textron who highly values theirs to the tune of $107 + shipping (for 2 packs of 10). By the way, I am also looking for the tinnerman nut #NAS395-5-3 which has the 'U' shaped slot on the long side. Any guidance is appreciated. I will also post this in classifieds.

If your talking about the small springs that go under the handle, I found them on ebay for a reasonable price. There are 2 different springs that look similar but are different and each latch requires one of each for lack of a better term I will call them a right and left spring one each per a side.

I messaged this fella on ebay and ask if he could make a kit with the 4 springs (2 of each) and he was happy to do so. Here was the auction https://www.ebay.com/itm/286022746039 about $27 including shipping.

There is a post some where on here about installing them, I ended up using two heavy gauge utility hypodermic needles ( not sharp ones) to bend them in place.

We are fortunate in Denver to have access to a few local vendors who have shelf stock. If you live in a large city, or manufacturing area,
you may have a local vendor. Check below for additional info. Good luck Dan, and Happy Thanksgiving.
