1974 Cessna 150L - 5317.6TT, 2091.6 SMOH, new Millennium Cylinders (time varies), Complete Logs, NavComm (VOR), Mode C Transponder, 406 ELT. Annual Inspection Oct 18, 2024. Note that times will vary as currently still flying. Based at St. Andrews Airport (CYAV).

Hey all, I've come to an unfortunate point where I have to sell my (amazing) C150 in order to advance my aviation studies. I will point out that I am currently reaching out to a few potential people for joint ownership to allow me financially to keep the plane.

It had just come out of a fresh annual (due in September anyway) and is currently getting a new transponder (AT76 being upgraded to GTX 325).

This club has been awesome with providing help, thank you.

That’s approximately $42,000.00 American with a runout engine and I’m sure it will sell. I long for normalcy.

The world is upside down.

I'm sure normalcy will either come, or it will remain the new normal and wages will have to catch up.

As for the engine, it's being maintained "On Condition" - a TC regulated maintenance program that's required for commercial operators (or more commonly flight training units) but not for private. I've taken it upon myself to keep the plane maintained to that standard. I implore you to look into the inspection requirements for that - link below:
https://tc.canada.ca/en/aviation/re...ness-notice-b041-edition-4-31-march-2005

Our flight schools have 152's in the 4,000 hour range, and the C150 that parks in the hangar across from me is at almost 5,000 hours on the engine.

Here's a YouTube video of it flying as well (not my video but a friendly ramp attendant's):

I'm surprised Mike Busch hasn't found this on condition maintenance regulation and promoted it ! It comprises all the diagnostic techniques we have available to us for engine health monitoring. Alan
