If anyone has a right seat from the L, I could use one.
To make it a bit more difficult, Shelby told me yesterday the L-model has three different seat designs.
Mine has adjustment pin holes on the in-board rail, and shorter roller-track length between the rollers.
After I find a non-broken replacement, I will have TN Wings do them up in tan like I did on my old airplane. Shelby's work can't be beat!

Doesn't look like it. Not sure of the difference, but the parts manual says they are two different seats.

The one on top is for the '73 and '74 "L" models, including Geoff's (S/N 15074873). The one on the bottom is for all "M" models, including Terry's (S/N 15078411).

They are hard to find. I got mine so I could still fly while my seats were being redone. Could not find a pilot side.

I will be happy to pop out to the airport tonight and take pictures with dimensions if you think that will help.

Thanks Terry! Yes please, send me pictures! I'd take it off your hands if it's the same design and dimension. I only need the right side. We could probably come to an agreement if it works. I'll ask Shelby after I see your pics.

It occurs to me even if the complete seat's part number is different, they reused individual seat parts in the later airplane that Shelby might use to repair mine. For example the shaft assembly part number is 0414040-15 on both. That's a part I need. It's unclear from the parts list if the Frame, Welded Seat Bottom RH, labeled 12A, p/n 0414040-6 is the same on the M-model because that part number is not listed on the second drawing and not labeled. The drawing, however, appears identical. I'll bet it's the same. Anyway, I hope so. That would solve my problem.

My factory seat was made serviceable again by the mechanic at Kansas Copters.

I still plan to have TN Wings reupholster and make new carpet over the winter.
