My Plane is for sale.... I probably won't have it for clinton next year. My wife and I bought a 172, which is great for the both of us, but I find myself looking forward to my weekly warm-up flights in the 150. Here's my sale link that shows a couple of pics of the windows. http://bearingbeltchain.com/cessna150.htm I'll send you more specific pics of the windows if you're interested.

Yes. I would like to see more pics of the windows. I may do that someday.

Stephen,

What was the cost of the bubble window mod? Did you install the new windows yourself or did your A & P?

Do the bubble windows still open as stock windows do?

Does the installation affect airspeed?
Wind noise?

Absolutely no difference in airspeed. I didn't notice a change in wind noise either, but my headset may be blocking it out. I think the slipstream is several inches out from the cabin. Even bugs usually only hit the outer part of the window... except for the big ones....

I took my last BFR in a 150M with bubble windows, and noticed no difference whatever in what I was used to in my 150K, with the one exception of not bumping my head on the window when I tried to look straight down. The owner/CFI agrees there is no difference in noise, speed, handling, etc.
