I just joined. Purchased N714QQ (77 C150M) last month. I owned N9446U (76 C150M) during the mid-80's but had to sell as life intervened. Have recently owned a 66 Piper Cherokee for 4 years but was longing for a Cessna so it was sold also. I was fortunate to come across 4QQ on my home field ((1L8 Hurricane UT ) stashed in a 3 plane hanger that was getting in the way. So happy that I was able to negotiate this beautiful bird away from a good caretaker.
I'm really hoping to attend some Fly-ins but I'd like to start out closer than mid-west for now. The 150/152 Club that I belonged to when I owned 46U had several in the western states. At that time I flew out of Haward Executive, (CA) and there were a number of gatherings in the Bay Area. Any chance for some west coast, utah events ?

Welcome Roger. Fly-ins and camping are so much better with a 150.

Roger, there are no Club run Fly-Ins other than Clinton, but there are a few smaller groups within the Club that has occasional Fly-Outs. We encourage these local events. Check this forum, especially the threads in the Pilot's Lounge. Local Fly-Ins are the perfect place to announce plans and get the word out about your local event and see what others have planned.

Welcome to the Club.
