In contract with sellar in KSNA for a nice lookin 150G. Logs looks good but I just need someone in the area who can do a PREBUY. Sellar offered A&P mechanic who works for the flight school, but I don't think that's a good idea. Anyone in the area? Please contact me. I live in Seattle.

I don't live in S. Calif. now but used to. When I was there, I used Foothill Aircraft at Cable Airport for my annuals. Mike, (I think his last name is Heart, could be wrong though) a mechanic there, is quite thorough, maybe a little nit-picky but that can be a good thing. He found some things wrong with my plane that other mechanics had missed for years. He also owned, maybe still does, a Cessna 150. I am sure there are plenty of good mechanics around, and closer to KSNA, but he is one I would recommend.

Interesting side note, KSNA is where I found my plane when I bought it 26 years ago.

Where are you hoping to base your 150? There's a few of us up at Harvey Field and Monroe.

Thank you Jim for the warm welcome. We eventually bought the plane and it was recently ferried to WA just this week.

N3182X is currently based in Norman Grier S36. She will be needing a good mechanic for maintenance and our annual is due in May. Does anyone in the area have any suggestions or recommendations, please chime in.

@Fabian, sent you a PM - wondering if you found a mechanic at S36. I am looking for someone to do a prebuy on a 152 based at S36.
