So.. while upside down under the panel trying to figure out why my VOR wasn’t working (last shop forgot to plug it back in) noticed that the nozzle for my defroster vent was broken off. I’d say it’s too far gone to try to fiberglass and repair.

Anyone have one they care to sell. It’s Cessna P/n 0413452-1

I suspect MOST folks will find it broken - or not even there as the "Royalite" plastic work hardened and shattered away over the years.

Probably worth bending a bit of 0.025" AlClad into an owner produced part.

I love the idea, though I'm not a tin knocker! Seriously, need to figure out the dimensions. A new one is near $1k from Textron (they really do smoke good stuff out there)

Seriously -- if anyone has one out of the plane, I would greatly appreciate dimensions (photos against a scale). Particularly interested in the slot width and height, as well as the ID and OD of the hose connection.

Thx

I wonder about 3D printing out of PETG.

Exactly what I'm thinking... high temp resistant PETG.
