Cessna 210 1960 project

I think the estate of my late friend is thinking about $35k for this plane.

A super good mechanic with lots of know how and willing to spend $$$ might like this type of airplane to bring back to good use.

It needs a lot of tlc

Cabin is the width of C182 with 30 more HP. It feels like a C182

We love our high wings and it has that too of course.

In the summer down south I would rather have the C210 than the low wing planes. Probably like it in the winter for the shade and ground view too.

I do not have any where to go far and fast so I am not a candidate for this plane. It was ferried from NW Arkansas to Jackson Ala. I cranked it up the other day and it fired up very quickly. Interior and radios need help.

How much TLC does it need? Is the TLC required measured in $1,000 or $10,000 units?

Good luck, Bruce! That seems to me to be a more than fair price, especially since it is obviously flyable. I predict it won’t be for sale long before somebody snatches it up.

Based solely on the current prices on trade-a-plane, I'd guess the latter. Not meant in a derogatory way by any means.

I thought about mentioning this to my (former) mechanic, butI think Kendel may be interested. Really a capable airplane in good shape.

You wouldn't have to take the wings off. It was flown from NW Arkansas to Alabama not long ago. You could get a ferry permit and fly it to Ohio.

That would be super duper awesome. I'm working the details to see if its the right plane for me.

The plane flew in from NW Arkansas- I understand the landing gear were not retracted for the trip.

I imagine a mechanic could do this updates and it would be in the tens of thousands of dollars. Avionics are (I think) )were updated about 20 years back by a previous owner and work.

I’ve cranked it up and taxied it and every thing seemed very much like a C182 I flew about 8 years

The interior would need a lot of attention could be where most $$ could be spent.

35k for the plane and 65k for modest improvements and repairs. What would be the value of a speedy 4 place high wing airplane- more than 100k.
