I know they are rare, but I’m trying my luck on here to see if I can find a front ski or the whole set of skis for my 150 that have STC. Any help or leads is great appreciated! Thanks!

If you find them you will have a blast. C’mon up, we are in North Creek and we keep the runway groomed for ski ops.

Good luck,

Pete

Finding them may take some time! But I’ll keep the search going haha and north creek, NY? I have a place on Sacandaga I’d like to fly to in the winter which I’ll prob still be able to do with tires but conditions will have to be perfect for that I’d assume.

Ryan, if I recall correctly we had a club member from Wisconsin that had skis on his 150.
He sold the plane a few years ago and bought one of those Piper things. Maybe he still has the skis or can give you the name of the new owner that might not be using them,
The member's name is Jim Curns and he is a very nice guy. Not sure how you can get a hold of him.

Thanks for the Lead Ron! A gentleman sent me his last known email as well and I think I found his Facebook. Idk if he uses it or not and I feel like a complete creep for messaging him on it but a fella wants to find that ski! ????

Jim is a true gentleman and a great guy and I wish he was still a member here.

He has a farm in New London, Wisconsin but he also has a crane business there called Curns Crane Service, LLC

Google shows his crane service business number as: 920 982 6882

Good luck and if you talk with him, tell him hi from the club and that he's missed here.

We have been chatting back and forth on email. Very nice guy! He has been helping me locate a ski as his was sold to someone in Minnesota! Dang! But the search goes on.

Hey Ryan,

Just saw these, don’t know if they will work on a 150 , but they are set up for a nose wheel.
