Looking to replace top cowl (with or without top of nose-bowl) for our '64 C150D (S/N 15060395) . N4395U is based at 88C (Palmyra). Close enough to drive and pickup is (of course) preferable. Send details./pix to "pmcarter01" gmail account, please.
If I'm reading the parts books correctly, it looks like the upper cowl from the later long-nose 150 would work for you if the nose cap was changed out. I have several of the long-nose upper cowls available.

I have a d model and a g model and they have different cowls but since i don't know what problem he's trying to solve it might work for him.

Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterward. The only time you have too much fuel on board is when you're on fire.
Kind of nervous about the concept of "universal fit" parts on a nearly 60 year old airplane. I think I'll wait and see if one nearer (driveable) shows up.

If you Google "Cessna 150 manual", you can find download links for pdfs of the parts and service manuals (they're not copyrighted). Some parts are common across all serial numbers, while others are not. The only way to know is to use the serial number of your aircraft and look it up.

You can get the latest parts catalog, direct from Cessna, for FREE. Even for the 152 (which is typically not found on the internet). Click here for details:
Copyright law changed around 1976 making it much easier for people to copyright their work. This I believe is the reason why you can easily find manuals older than 1976 floating around the internet. It's also the reason why the 150 parts manuals are easily found, but much harder to find a 152 parts manual.
Cessna copyrights their manuals, but has offered their Parts Manuals for free (presumably to make it easier to sell more parts). Service Manuals, on the other hand, must be purchased.

Good Morning Peter; I have a 1964 Cessna 150D, N4330U, S/N 15060330 that I purchased several years ago for the parts or to rebuild as a Lowes STC taildragger. I have an offer for the fuselage that would make the cowls available. I will reach out to the gentleman wanting the fuselage and see if he still a buyer. I have one that is in excess of my needs. It is in surprisingly good condition for its age. The nose bowl is almost perfect. There is one crack out of the corner of the oil access door that has been stop drilled and a repair made to the one vertical stringer along to door opening. Feel free to throw me an offer if you are interested.
