I'm strongly considering selling my 150 at the end of the summer. I will be at the fly-in, feel free to come chat and take a tour if you are interested.

Total time, 7001
Engine 580

Flown regularly. I used the plane to earn my instrument rating, Commercial, CFI, CFII. It will do anything you need.

2015 - Ground up restoration with all new AN bolts, repainted, all new windows, interior panels, seats, carpet, rewired, etc. All steam gauges were rebuilt at this time. Engine analyzer, digital tach, etc.

2015 - Firewall forward new with an overhauled engine with Millennium cylinders.

New Garmin panel with a refurbished 430 - I have a recent video that shows the panel - https://youtu.be/b-hTxsF4sc8

In total, about $85k was invested in the plane in 2015.

2020

Garmin GTX 335 ADS-B out

Spin kit

2021

New Sensenich Prop - just for fun.

Lots of minor updates and expensive parts installed like the yoke universals, Lord shimmy dampener, etc.

If you are interested send me a PM and I will stay in contact with those that express an interest.

The price is not 100% set, but expect it to be in line with the high end of Trade a Plane 150s equipped this well.

That is some aggressive spin action. It went a little flat there, was that concerning? How do you do so many rotations without building excessive speed?

I did some aerobatics incl spin training in a decathlon years ago, and recently put the spin kit on my 150, but haven’t tested it yet.

It's a spin - by definition it doesn't build speed.

The aircraft is stalled, it does not accelerate. It's only when it comes out of the spin that it accelerates.

Our Spin Goddess Catherine has videos of extended spins in the 150-it's predictable and always recoverable. It's one of the best airplanes ever built for spin behavior and recovery.
