This project aircraft is located just north of Oklahoma City.
With logbooks and STC paperwork. Mostly complete.
It appears from the logs and condition that the Avcon conversion was started in 1989 but never completed. Receipts indicate engine and prop were purchased, but logbook does not show they were installed. Aft battery modification was nearly completed, but one cleco remains in place to show it wasn’t finished. The aircraft's registration aged out of the system and it sat until I bought it. All of the STC paperwork is there and was registered for this aircraft.
Project includes:
Avcon STC paperwork Avcon motor mount Avcon upper cowling Fuselage with Avcon modifications, including aft mounted battery tray, on gear with wheels and brakes Wings, horizontal, vertical (including riveted on piece), elevators, rudder, struts, flaps, Seats and doors (complete with windows and door panels) Wing tips Some instruments Nose strut
Does not include:
Nose wheel Some interior panels, carpet, or headliner Front windshield Ailerons Elevator, rudder, or wing tips Radios Engine, propeller, and spinner Lower cowling FAA bill of sale (has been deregistered)

I actually only sold the motor mount, upper cowl, and STC paperwork. Still have the rest of the airplane, along with the logbooks. The buyer didn't want it all.

I was thinking about buying the very same parts for BarFly but I did not want to buy the whole airframe..... I guess I should have asked you if you were willing to separate the package. Oh well, my loss...

Thanks, George. Yes, I saw the dates, but was hoping that he (or anyone else) might see this and still have intel on the conversion. Do you happen to know anyone with Avcon O-320 conversion drawings? - Kent 1968 C150H
Sorry Kent, I don't. However, you've come to the right place to try and find the info that you're looking for. Be patient. Someone will send you off in the right direction!
