I have a wild idea. Since I’m no longer actively giving flight instruction, and I’ve sold my airplanes, I’m downsizing my collection of aviation stuff. I have a bunch of things to get rid of and I don’t want to do it piecemeal, selling it on eBay or Craigslist.

So I was thinking about offering it all to anyone who would pay shipping and perhaps a token price (say $50).

Examples of some of the things that might be of interest are:

2 different vintage Spot Messengers
Pilot PA 200T 2 place intercom
Garmin surface mount for GPSMAP 495
Ram mount
Yoke mount
ASA-SP-1 pilot log books
Air sick bags
Taylor’s Flight Time Log Book
JeppShades (sometimes called Foggles)
E6B Flight Computers (multiple)
Electronic E6B Flight Computers (I know, there are apps for that)
Remote push to talk
Various knee boards

But wait, there’s more!

I thought I’d throw this idea out there to see if anyone might be interested, and if so I can be more specific and even take a few photos. But if no one is interested I might just haul this stuff to a thrift store and donate it hoping some newly minted pilot or CFI might have a field day sorting through my stuff.

Maybe the student pilot that Graeme collected stuff for or the one that George Jameson donated money to can use it.

Last Thursday, I did a flight review with a CFI who just got her certificate back in March. I'll bet she would be interested, so I would be willing to send you $50 for the whole lot, Terry, if you want to send it down to Arkansas.

Stacy, you've got it ... I'm going to sweeten the pot with some other things I've run across, and I'll try to get it all in a USPS large flat rate box to keep shipping cost at a minimum ... so, stand by and I'll let you know when I'm ready to ship it. Send me a PM with your address and we'll make this thing happen!

Stacey,

I did get it in a Large (Long) flat rate box ... save your $50 and just cover the postage, which I think is $21.50 (I'll let you know exactly after I ship it). I'm glad to donate it to a good cause!
