I am good with either the Cessna or AvFab STC seat. Thanks so much. A used AvFab seat won’t really help. The STC is specific to the airplane’s serial number. You can’t legally install an AvFab seat in another aircraft without first getting AvFab to transfer the STC to the new serial number. Which they will do. But first they require re-inspecting the seat and seatbelt to make sure it still conforms to the STC. And they charge the same price for that service as they do for selling you a brand-new seat.

I assume the child seat requires a seat belt. Is that correct? | | | | Joined: Aug 2016 Posts: 1,286 Likes: 204 Member/1000+posts | Member/1000+posts Joined: Aug 2016 Posts: 1,286 Likes: 204 | You are correct, there should be a seat belt with it. If fact the entire child seat consists of:
Back rest with two side brackets (this part bolts into the side of the cabin walls, there should be nut plates factory installed behind the plastic. Seat with frame (bottom part you sit on) two brackets to secure the seat with frame to the cabin floor. Seat belt with end brackets.
