So, in the end it might be the same as renting a spin certified airplane. In a dollars and cents way I'm kinda winning. Was thinking about that too. I suspect it is still a cost issue. It's a (probably small) finite remaining market and they can't just make it as a PMA part. The AD calls for a specific Cessna kit. So McFarlane would have to apply for an AMOC and the costs immediately mount for a small return. | | |
