Everyone may have a place but I recently found Advanced Auto carries Aeroshell 100 for a great price! There website usually has a discount code in it for in store pickup or shipping! I snagged some recently for around 5 bucks a qt.

My former 152 used Aeroshell 15W50. Costco was selling it at a good price, but there's no Costco in my city. I went to a local oil distributor and they ordered it for me at wholesale price, very good deal. But after two years or so, they said they no longer sell to individuals. I then started buying online from www.airplaneoil.com [airplaneoil.com] .

I have been buying from airplaneoil.com too. the price is tolerable but the shipping gets the price/quart right up there. I will check out these alternatives.

I buy it from my home airport FBO as a way to support them.

I buy my oil and most of my fuel at my home airport. If I don’t help support them they will be gone. Fuel is expensive there, but I don’t burn a lot!

I would hate to see them sell the airport land, so I like to think I’m helping them make a few dollars and keep the airport as is.

I kind of like not having any fuel or services on our home strip. Makes it kind of secret, keeps it quiet, private and safe.

I buy my oil from Petroleum Service Co, also.
