I need a clean, mechanically sound 150, preferably 66 or later. Does not need to be super pretty. Budget is high 20's with 30K as a cap. Would like LESS than 1000 hours on the engine. Need to do some training and we will probably sell it after a year or so. Im a cash buyer.

Any hints or lines on aircraft not listed yet or on the big sites is appreciated. Thanks!!

Hi Jim,
There are many low engine time C-150?s currently for sale out on the ?big sites?. I have seen a few that I would personally consider purchasing if I was a current buyer. You should have no problem finding a good one that is within your price range.

Oh trust me ive been looking. there are 150s out there but look carefully and there are few with less than 1000hrs that seem ?healthy? to me.

The Cessna 150/152 Facebook page..someone is offering their 67 with 16 hours on O/H engine..... looks clean...think basic VFR.

Selling the 1966 C150 G I?ve been flying. Is there any recommended means of establishing a price for it? I?m a low time pilot and there just seems to be so many variables into determining a price.
TT ~2500. 12 hours since new engine installed. Super basic/no fancy avionics. Interior is a 4/10 exterior is a 6/10. Is there a trustworthy/recommended airplane version of a Blue book value?

Didn't you just sell a perfectly good Cessna 150 and buy a Bonanza?

Yup!!! Sold it a year and a half ago and I dont plan on keeping this one. Its for training and when we are done, plan on getting rid of it for hopefully zero loss. Friend agrees that owning our own 150 is the way to go for training his son.

If you stretched your budget a bit, there is a real nice 150 at your field. I almost bought it myself but it wasn't available at the time I was shopping seriously.

Have not seen a 150 for sale here..on the ramp..or on any of the trading sites. Mind giving me some specifics? Thanks!

This [barnstormers.com] one would be perfect for simple training in my opinion.
