I do not know now this happened but I just discovered that the inspection plate under the elevator on my 1976 C150M is missing. I am baffled but none the less I need another one. So if you have a spare inspection plate you are willing to sale please PM me. Will take any color. Thanks

What diameter? Inspection plates come in common sizes and are interchangeable.

I might have one at the hanger. But it might be another 3 days and the water dropping another 2 feet for me to go check.

I discovered the same thing this week. Same panel was missing - 3 screw holes.. It was replaced with an Owner Produced part. I used a piece of plexiglass to make a new panel. Much easier to inspect now..

Terry, Do you keep your plane outdoors? Just wondering if it was stolen?

Yeah, Clinton Fly-In is next month. Good place for some "night time part acquisition".

If you can't find one here it looks like Texas Air Salvage has a bunch from an '83 152 that might fit the 150M airframe.

None of them have a price, but similar parts look like they're listed at $26.

States I landed in N63420 while he was mine:

5 inch diameter. At a lost as to what happened. I keep in 63U in a hanger but she does sit outside from time to time when I travel to western NC. Teaches me to be a lot more vigilant during my per flight. To be honest I rarely bend down and look under the elevator.
