I have a Narco ELT 10 that I want to get out of my hangar. It works as far as I know and the battery says replace by June 07.

It uses an Alkaline Battery Pack BP-1010. Battery weighs in at 2.8 lbs and the total unit is 3.3 lbs.

First one who wants it can have it for reimbursement of shipping (FEDEX Ground).

An excellent, bulletproof ELT if the rack is with it. Only problem is that while the 121.5 freq ELTs will be legal to use, it won't do you any good as 121.5 mhz will cease to be monitored for ELTs after (I think) the end of 2008. SAR is shifting to the 406 mhz freq units, by international agreement, but congress/FAA has not mandated you replace your unit.

Well Chuck, it's free so what difference does it make? Do you want it?
