Cessna part # 0431009-3. I need some of these. Does anyone know a source please, other than the original manufacturer, who want a "Lear Jet" price for new stock. Have heard they are manufactured with STC in USA; what are you guys/gals in USA doing when you need replacements please?
Is it the same part # for C-152 & the Aerobat? Need both.
Any info would be a great help....

Yup, you're correct. I'll get the number checked and hopefully a photo of the piece too.
Thanks for the advice.

Brian,
I have checked in the C-152 Textron parts catalogue sketch and the 2 brackets that I think I need are illustrated there. They appear correct, as does the P/N, but the eBay advert with that same part number to which you refer neither looks like the pictured-part in the catalogue nor the parts that I need....?
When our shop opens here in NZ tomorrow I'll get photo of the "fitting" P/N 0431009-3 so maybe that helps...?
Thanks again for your help.
Cheers etc, DUAL.

This is what you need. They are stupidly expensive from Cessna.
A guy on eBay had a whole bag of them, also for a ridiculous amount of money, and to me the parts looked "suspect"lacking paperwork or traceability.

Correct Brian. That is exactly what I need. Was there any contact for this seller please? Or is it the same guy as your earlier post?
Thanks, DUAL.

Thanks again Brian. I can't seem to find a direct contact for that eBay seller, the old advert is in Spanish, and there does not appear to be any paperwork like a 8130-3 so I think I'll just ignore that....
There is another manufacturing option down here where I live which does have the correct paperwork so I guess that's where I'm headed.
Thanks again for your input.
New part # seems to be 0431148-1 now too.
Cheers etc, DUAL.

Wow, those parts are expensive. Preferred Airparts has one NOS (New - Old Stock) in stock, p/n 0431009-2 (the previous number, though still usable); they want $1244 for it.

You are not wrong Kirk....!
The best new price I have seen advertised in the US is ca.USD1,800/piece. I can get them made out here for ca.USD1,000/piece, with paperwork, so that's where I'm headed.
I have seen some "used" parts advertised too but looking carefully at the photos provided I think I'm better off using my old parts...!
Thanks to you guys for your guidance. I don't mind spending the $$$. I just don't want to spend them and then someone comes along later saying, " If you'd have done .....". Now that would pee me off!
Thanks guys,
Cheers DUAL.
