Database not important. Ball mount cradle a plus. My last one fell in the woods along a creek. There is something to be said about an enclosed cockpit but when you are setting in the wind anything falling is history.

I have a 496 I would consider selling. I don't remember if I have a ball mount or not. Mine is yoke mounted. Let me check my hangar and I will get back with you.

Airwolf912 Powered Parachute. I have a couple of Airplanes at my disposal if needed for a trip but mainly fly this as a hobby since it is cheap to fly and great views.

Does Garmin still support these Devices? How updatable are they? Or do you even need then to be updatable?LOL

With a mile of highway, you can go one mile. With a mile of runway, you can go just about anywhere.

Old database is fine. I don't use many airports except the ones in the older databases anyway, mainly need heading, ground speed, altitude and a track in case I get lost from which pasture/field I took off and miles traveled.
