Anyone know where this information comes from? My 1966 C150G is S/N 15065450. Based on the above information it’s an applicable model but not an applicable serial number. Can I install these on my plane?

Yes, they’ll fit. Pretty much every strut-braced 100-series Cessna uses the same wing. The straight portion between fuselage and wing was lengthened or shortened as needed for wing area. But the tapered portion outboard of the strut was the same. So many of these planes can interchange wingtips (or ailerons, for that matter).

The 140A, 172, 182, 150, and 152 all shared the same basic wing design.

Ok so they should physically fit but is it legal to install them on my aircraft given that my serial number does not match the applicable ones associated with this part?

When I installed them on my 150D my A&P/IA had no problem with it. Here's a bit more detail on the subject:

Be sure to read Charles Hanna's responses in the above link as well (he's an A&P and 150 expert).
