A sad day, Tim, but a happy one at the same time smile. I'm glad you were able to sell (about) when you wanted to.

N6120F is headed to Dietz Airpark in Canby Oregon and then on to Frontier Airpark in Arlington WA. I had an easy flight from Chandler AZ to Redding CA yesterday and really enjoyed flying it. I actually got my pilots licence in 1983 in a Cessna Aerobat so it brings back lots of memories. Our whole family is very involved with Aviation.

My wife Jennifer and I started Advanced Flight Systems and all 3 of our kids grew up working in the family business. We live on Dietz Airpark just south of Portland. We currently have a Van's RV-10 and a 1947 Cessna 140. Our oldest son Jeffrey has his pilots license and works as an engineer for Advanced Flight, now part of Dynon Avionics. Brian has soloed the C-140 and is an engineer at Glasair in Arlington. Kelsey graduated from Oregon State in June and is in charge of marketing for Vashon Aircraft in Woodinville WA.

Brian has been looking for a C-150 to buy and keep in Arlington so he can finish his pilots licence and Kelsey wants to get her pilots license. We have looked at a lot of airplanes and when I found Tim's Aerobat that had been extremely well maintained, had an awesome panel and it was an Aerobat!. I could not imagine a better airplane for Brian and Kelsey to learn to fly. I did blow Brian's airplane budget by a factor of 2 and somehow managed to convince their mother that this was a good idea. Anyway we now have an Aerobat and Jennifer is selling our C-140. I am currently stuck with it in Redding CA waiting for the smoke to clear.

Welcome to the forum, Rob. Hopefully you or your children will bring the Aerobat to our annual Cessna 150-152 Fly-In [cessna150152flyin.org] in the future. Tim has been to the Fly-In a few times, but not in the Aerobat.

Welcome to the Club, Rob. Lots of good folks here and it is nice to have you join us.

I'm glad you bought Tim's Aerobat. It will make Brian a wonderful airplane even if it did run just a little smile over his budget.
