I have a rock-solid panel-mount VFR GPS/Comm for sale. The GPS uses an on-screen indicator. The communication radio is 5 watts nominal and works very well. It'll come with a database expired July 2018, antenna, Commander docking station for updating the database with a desk-top computer (you can even have the computer, free, if you want it).
I've had this in my plane since I bought it in 2014, but removed it for an upgrade to a Garmin WAAS system a few weeks ago. When I first bought the airplane, it wouldn't find satellites. I had it serviced by Honeywell (new internal batteries) and it's worked flawlessly ever since.
It has the Bendix King North-America database, with airports and VORs. It is also easy to make, store and fly to user-defined way points on the fly with either GPS coordinates or a radial and distance from a VOR. Also, you can enter the CTAF frequency or WX frequency directly into standby with a touch of the button. I love this system! It saved my bacon once in inadvertent IMC on a flight from Liberal to Hays.
My intention is to give someone in this club a fantastic deal and help out someone who needs a panel-mounted GPS/Comm. Please don't buy it to flip it.
If you want it, PM me.

I couldn't find a downloadable pilot guide for the KLX 135. Here is the one for the KLX 135-a (has a moving map that mine does not have, otherwise, identical).

This is info about the docking station. I bought it new, and it works perfectly! You must have a computer with a bootable floppy A drive. External drives and USB drives will not work.
