Alright, it's driving me crazy. I have this blank spot in my yoke and I'd like to fill it in. smile I can't seem to find an inlay for my style yoke. Any ideas?

I found a "cessna skyhawk II yoke applaque" on aircraft spruce and they worked well on my 150M yokes.

Thanks Gary, but that would be for a 172. Attached is a pic from another airplane on what it should look like.

Yes, but it just says Cessna and it fits perfectly on my 1975 150M. I can see where yours is more rectangular than mine.

Ah, I see, yes, mine are a bit different. I'll give Graphicsmaxx a look. Otherwise, maybe I can get a custom sticker printed somewhere.

Take that picture to a trophy/award shop and they can make a small engraved metal plaque for you.

Bingo.

I just did this for the yokes on Mighty Mouse and it'll turn out very nice.

For Sierra's yokes I fabricated two pieces of stainless steel and polished them to a mirror finish. Then I had "Jim" engraved for the pilot yoke and "Cindy" engraved on the copilot yoke.

Nice touch but probably overkill for most.
