To lighten your load, you can ship your stuff to the Fly-In via UPS, FedEx, or US Postal Service.

Ship it to:

Clinton Municipal Airport
2000 S 60th St
Clinton, IA 52732

Mark the outside of the box with your name or tail number, and "Cessna 150 Fly-In."

Your stuff will be put in a secure room and will be there waiting patiently for your arrival.

Now, If you want this stuff back after the Fly-In, print a return shipping label and prepay the bill.
Put the return label in an envelope and put it inside the box.
At the end of the fly-in, repack your box, attach the return label, and we will ship your stuff back to you on Monday after the Confab.

I know that it may seem redundant but if you ship items to Clinton that you wish to have shipped home you will be responsible to packing and shipping the items.

This is extremely important!!! In the past, I have done all the shipping of items to be returned and it is quite a job!!! Almost a full 2-3 hour job to be exact. There is a Ace Hardware in town that ships out UPS, but it is clear at the other end of town.

I ship by Fedex. Last year I took extra air bills. After we packed I filled out the labels, put them on the boxes, and called Fedex for a pick-up. They picked up on Tuesday at the airport(we stayed until Monday) and 3 days later they were in Ocean Springs.

I need to ship a couple of items to Clinton for the Saturday night door prize give away drawings. I'll ship to the airport address above, how should I mark the package?, or to whose care?, so they will know to open and include the items in the Banquet drawing.

I had two metal cases that needed to be picked up or dropped off at UPS after the fly-in.

We applied the new shipping labels before we left on Saturday.

The tracking numbers say they have not been received by UPS. Would someone be able to let me know when they will be picked up by UPS?

UPS doesn't get out that way every day, but they have been notified and expected today or tomorrow

Trying to plan what to bring for my first time at the Confab. I camped as Oshkosh last year and finding food was not a problem so wondering if food needs to be brought along or not? Also wondering how far in advance stuff should or can be shipped to Clinton? Appreciate any and all advice smile

The Fly-In NOTAM for this year hasn't been published yet, but attached is the 2016 NOTAM which answers most questions a first-timer might have. There's a section about FOOD. The offerings are similar each year. If you're a picky eater or have special diet requirements, you can always use the free shuttle van rides to go to the restaurants in town. A group of people usually rode the van into town to eat breakfast then called the driver's phone to pick them up when they were done eating.

There's a Walmart in town and the van goes there quite often. You can go there and buy items that you forgot or didn't want to pack.
