Thank u Jim for the reply---5489Q has the plastic instrument panels that have seen there better days---cracked and would like to put something a little better. Finding out that although it was a real find, always a little something to do on them.---Randall

Hi Dave.
I have made a real nice one down in Lockhart 50R. It's worth 27.5K to me. It's a 74 L model. It has just turned 10k TT. 10,104 now. It's engine has SMOH 104.
Good luck and all that. I had a similar return to flying. The 150 was perfect for 3 years. I'm now ready to up grade, to luggage. I have a 182 now. the landing numbers are the same, but one is in knots.

I decided to pass on the a/c I asked about in the original post. Still looking! I'm sure there is exactly the right plane for me out there somewhere. In the mean time I am in the process of reading all the tech posts - some very interesting reading.
