I just bought my plane and it does not have a door lock. Looking to acquire one or info on how to get one. Thanks.

Welcome Phil.

The aviation section of Home Depot and Lowes have cabinet locks that will fit the hole in your door.

Hi Phil! grin Phil works where I work in Gila Bend! He has a beautiful 64D. He sometimes flies it to work from Casa Grande to Gila Bend Muni.....everyday I drive by to see if the 64D is there grin

Yes, I try to fly to work often, but with the heat and monsoons, it has only averaged once per week over the summer.

Thanks@!

I assume it fit your C150 ok? Did it require much to get it to fit?

It required some adjusting with overlapping washers. I think my mechanic spent about 3 hrs. But it works like a charm!

I replaced the door lock in my '64 D model using an off-the-shelf "cabinet" lock:
