Are you having a hard time washing your aircraft at the hanger?

No running water at your airport?

Here is a way you can wash you plane.

www.worx.com [worx.com]

I found that it takes about 15 to 17 one gallon milk jugs filled with water from hame can wash your Cessna 150/152.

Check out this web site for more info.

If you are a member of Amazon Prime, you can order through Amazon and get free shipping.

I did a demo at Clinton and had about 3 or 4 guys say there were going to buy a Worx Hydroshot portable cleaner.

looks like a pretty handy little item! I have a bunch of 5 gal buckets with lids and pour spouts, this would be perfect for washing the plane when at the hangar I use. (no water, no power)

I don't use water at all. I haven't used water to clean my car or airplane in years. There are lots of products out there that do a great job of cleaning without using water. The fact that we just experienced a 5 year drought had a little to do with it. smile I am lucky enough that my 150 is kept in a hangar and only occasionally needs dusting off. I use Lemon Pledge to clean bugs off the leading edges.

It is about cleaning the sides and under the wing. Hell, everyone uses something to clean the bugs off the leading edge. That is the easy part.

Ron, I'm using Purple Power from the dollar store and rags to keep the under surfaces clean. I follow up with a waterless clean and wax spray. It works, but I've often wished for a water sprayer. I think this looks like it's worth a thought. I like that it's rechargeable. I got rid of all my gas powered lawn equipment last year. This'll fit right in with the theme.

I'd be careful using any detergent not made specifically for aircraft or aluminum. They could sneak into places where it wouldn't get completely rinsed out, and cause corrosion. That sure would make saving a few bucks on cleaner a bad deal after all.

Dollar store carries another product called AWESOME. I started using it with great satisfaction. It sell for $1.00 per quart. Mix it 10 to 1 with water as stated on the bottle. Does a better job than anything else I have tried.

I was just watching the infomercial for this today while waiting for a flight. Thought it would be useful for cleaning the plane. Thanks for the link, Ron
